Grace was before the law. God created Adam and Eve and the world for them to live in before he ever gave them a command. God's Love preceded God's Law. (God's grace) The blood of animal sacrifice was just a shadow and symbol of what was to come just as the Lord's supper is a remembrance and a symbol of what has been accomplished. We no longer obey them because we have something better.
