Article from Newspaper:
Mrs Jim Conine of near Dallas has returned to her home after attending
the bedside of her mother, Mrs. Oneal. Mrs Sarah O'Neal died at eight
o'clock on last Tuesday morning at the home of her son, W.P O'Neal after
suffering intensely for ten days. Everything that medical skill and
loving hands could do was done but to no avail. She had lived to
the ripe old age of 82 years, having lived a Christian for over half a
Century. Rev. John Wallace conducted funeral services at Mt. Olive
Church of which she had held her membership for quite awhile, after which
her body was laid to rest in the cemetary there to await the resurrection
morn. She had lived a devoted Christian life, her husband having
died in the Civil War. She had a hard struggel in rearing her four
small children but often made the remark that the Lord was always with
her. Weep not dear children, for some sweet day there will be a great
reunion where parting will be no more. The floral offerings were
beautiful. Feb 7, 1918.
