Ideas of How You Can Help

Our age has caught up with us and we are no longer active in prison ministry. We do still try to keep this website active, so although we no longer need funds, we could still use some help. These suggestions are arranged in order by easiest and least time consuming, to more complex and most time consuming. Please pray about what the Lord would have you to do if anything. We will appreciate whatever you can do.

Friend - Send a "friend request" to "Thor Carden" on Facebook. This will allow you to recieve a prayer reminder a few times a year when I post comments about updates to this website.

Fan - As the Spirit directs, talk about us in a postive way when you are with your Christian brothers and sisters or on social media like Facebook. Emphasize using our materials to study together with inmates by mail. There are two million people in prison or jail in the United States. Whether you know it or not, some of your friends have friends or family behind bars. It is a statistical certainty. They may keep it to themselves because they are ashamed or because they are tired of hearing the kind of hurtful remarks people make. They may never acknowledge it, but by speaking about us publically you may bring them a new hope by helping them discover a way to share the things of the Lord with their caged love ones. You can use some of the points posted at "What sets our lessons apart is -- " to give you ideas of what to say.

Error Checker - Find pages on our website or lessons we have posted that interest you and examine them for errors. Report any you find to the contacts at the bottom of this page. You don't have to be an expert on anything like grammar or theoology. Just point out things that look like errors to you or things you think are confusing, and we will be grateful. The most difficult mistakes for us to notice ourselves are incorrect Bible references.

Prayer Partner - Commit yourself to daily prayers for this ministry.

Pen Pal - Become active in Pen Pal ministry and use our materials in your letters with prisoners. See List of Pen Pal Ministries

Teacher/Student - Use our lessons to teach Bible classes or in your own personal Bible study.

Editor - Let us know you want to proofread for us and we will send you lessons and pages before we post them to look over for us. Finding all our own errors is impossible.

Photographer - Take photographs that could be used as Bible lesson illustrations that you are willing for us to use in our lessons. See Photograph Contest.

Artist - Create original Bible illustrations or Christian art you are willing for us to use here. See Troy's page for an example of this.

Author - Write Bible lessons for us to include in what is offered here. You will need to contact us before you do this to make sure it is something we need. Our guidelines for authors is here.

Let us know if you are doing any of these things. It will greatly encourage us if you do.
